Photography is such an exciting medium. Will it be film, digital or both? With guest artist, Dianne Hopkins Hughes, I presented a unit which included photographing architectural details in the area surrounding our school. These were used for a David Hockney inspired photo collage by each student, and a large photo collage using a 4" x 4" photo from each student. We used digital, but it could be done with film, too. If you're interested, I can send you info and images.

Middle level art teachers -
We are looking for great lesson plans, ideas, thoughts, suggestions, questions, etc. that would be of interest to middle level art teachers. Please feel free to use this blog to post your thoughts, etc. It is intended to connect us dealing with the adolescent art students and their particular "issues".
