Next year I will be teaching photography and journalism to 7th graders. I have never done this before. Any suggestions, comments, recommendations, lessons, etc. that you have and would share would be greatly appreciated.

Are you going to have Photoshop or a similar editing software like Gimp? Are your students shooting in Auto mode or manually with adjustments to aperture and shutter speeds? I'm right down the street- so let me know any specifics of what you're looking for and I would be more than glad to help.

Thanks Josh, I'll be using Gimp and auto mode on the camera. I would like for the benefit of this course to be to help out yearbook. So taking candid shots of students will be a priority. I would appreciate ANY and all advice, suggestions, etc.!
