Student theme design competition for the 2017 Education and Business Summit

12/12/2016

The Office of Career and Technology Education is requesting student designs for the 2017 Education and Business Summit (EBS). The theme for this year’s EBS is ConneCTEd and Ready: Creating Career Connections. The winning design will be featured on printed and electronic conference materials for 2017. The student or student team with the winning design will be recognized at the opening ceremony of the 2017 EBS on June 25, 2017.

The student designs must be submitted via e-mail to rrutledge@ed.sc.gov no later than Wednesday, January 11, 2017, by the career center director or high school principal. An entry form must accompany each design. Student teams may submit a design; however, it must meet all guidelines outlined in the official rules.

Designs will receive confirmation of submission via e-mail within two business days. Submissions will be assessed with a rubric and the winning design will be notified no later than March 1, 2017. For questions concerning this process, please contact Rachel Rutledge, rrutledge@ed.sc.gov, 803-734- 8438.
