Lower Region Art Retreat 2016

SCAEA Lower Region Art Retreat
You are invited to join in a glass fusion workshop presented by artist and Nationally Board Certified teacher, Carolyn H. Mullinax. Participants will be introduced to the process of glass fusion as they create a functional glass wind chime. 

Date: Saturday, February 6th, 2016
Time: 9am-Noon
Location: Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School
8600 William Moultrie Dr.
North Charleston, SC 29420
​

What to bring: 5×5 inch sketch for wind chime center piece in a square or diamond format. Keep the design simple! We will be attaching 4-5 chimes to this base. You can also wait and create a sketch after looking at samples.

​What to wear: closed toed shoes
Important Note: The wind chime will need fired in a kiln. You will receive firing instructions.
Cost: $35 (Cost covers glass materials and shelving paper for kiln firing.)

Deadline for Registering: January 28th, 2016 

As materials will be purchased for each participant, the workshop fee must be received by 1/28.
